2014 in review

I wasn’t going to post again until Monday, but the WordPress.com stats helper monkeys have prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog and I thought it might be fun to share it with you.

I have also done some planning over the festive break, and am wondering whether I am blogging too frequently.  It’s quite hard work, you know, although I do enjoy it, but nowadays people are so bombarded with information that perhaps a thrice-weekly posting is too much.  So for the next three months I am going to limit myself to one post a week, and see what that does for my viewing figures.  I will then decide how to proceed from April onwards.  If you have any thoughts on the new regime, I trust you will let me know…

So back to that report on this blog’s fortunes in 2014, and here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 16,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

And happy new year to you all.
