And Grossey hits a century!

Well, lovely readers, it is quite a day for this little blog!  This is my hundredth post since I went all hi-tech and relaunched my blog here on WordPress.  I can’t tell you how much I enjoy writing it – oh, why not, I enjoy it “a lot a lot”, as my young niece says.  And I hope that I am fulfilling my original intention, which was to have a little e-chat with others who are as AML-barmy as I am, and to raise issues that are worrying/outraging/amusing me in hopes of increasing my own understanding.

Some celebratory statistics for you:

  • We now have 51 “followers” (i.e. people who have asked for email alerts of new posts – do click the “Sign me up!” button on the right if you’d like to join them)
  • Total hits for the blog – excluding my own (boo hiss!) – number 3,233 as I write
  • My most popular post – with 67 views – was this one on 7 November 2011, proving once again that you can’t ever tire of reading about shoes [and the stats will get skewed now, as you all go and have another look at that post – its position as Top Post will be guaranteed forever]
  • I have had 77 comments from readers, which is just marvellous – my two most prolific commenters (commentators?), with ten comments apiece, are Graham and Claire

It’s all too exciting – I’m going to have to calm down with a celebratory Jaffa Cake.  Or two.

    Hello Susan,
Congratulations; let me say I personally look forward to reading your blogs – keep them coming. I have a “lonely” position here in Turks and Caicos, both in tne office and in the jurisdiction. Now that I read that you welcome more interaction I will do more.
    Regards

    Paul
PS also an avid reader of Edward – your Amazon ebook and looking forward to the next – I can relate so much.

  2. Hello Paul
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement – and please do comment as often as you feel the spirit moving you. The beauty of t’Interweb is that it can bring together those of us separated by oceans, so I’ll look forward to hearing more from you. And thank you for reading and enjoying Edward – as I say, the third installment is in preparation. I am delighted to hear that you can relate to him, as this is exactly what I had hoped.
    Best wishes from Susan

Congratulations! And thanks for continuing to teach people that money laundering is wrong. It’s not only illegal, it destroys lives. Raising teenagers is hard. But teaching them right from wrong is even harder. And I find inspiration in your blog, motivation to never give up against the power of money. 100 posts, now up to 100 followers! And I hope to find inspiration in this too to write something for my own blog 😉
